Where would be your dream base? I heard pilots get to make a sort of dream sheet for where they want to be stationed, is that true?

For undergraduate pilot training we have a choice of 4 or 5 bases and none of them are very desirable (e.g. Columbus, MS) after that it depends on your airframe

What's the likeliness of you being deployed before we get out of Afghanistan?

I won’t finish pilot training until February 2014 and we’re supposed to be getting out of Afghanistan by 2014 so not likely.

It’s all good thanks for following! It was incredible, words really can’t describe what it felt to be on stage with the president. To be honest he kind of gave me the limp fish handshake but I was so overwhelmed with excitement I didn’t really care.
